SMN2

SCHOOLS MINISTRY NETWORK (SMN) existed to bring together Christian organisations and individuals working with schools, who are committed to maintaining high standards of ministry.

Schools Ministry Network was a voluntary association of Christian organisations and individuals working with schools.  In joining the Network, members commited themselves to its objectives, principles and practice.  Membership did not imply that any individual has undergone any particular training or is accredited in any way.  Members were ultimately responsible to their own employers or organisations.

For the Objectives and Principles that SMN worked under see separate page.

SMN activity ended sometime ago. Initially this was so that there was the possibility of SMN being restarted but it’s clear that this is not going to happen. With no constitution and the Steering Group no longer in existence the signatories to the SMN bank account have decided they should dispose of the money responsibly and completly wind up SMN.

24th September 2009: Succesful bids announced click here for details.

Reports on how the money has been used will be posted by the end of 2010.
